Quota Description and Application

There are two types of quotas: number of clusters and number of instances

Number of Clusters

The number of clusters is the limit on the number of clusters that a user can create. In other words, the number of clusters created the user cannot exceed the number of clusters requested. The initial number of clusters is 0.

Number of Instances

The number of instances is the limit of the number of Virtual Machine instances in user-created clusters. The initial number of instances is 0. It should be noted that the number of instances is limited by the total number of instances in all the user's clusters.

NOTE: For first usage or where the quota is insufficient, send a quota application by email to: emr-help@xiaomi.com, providing the following information:

1. Reason for application;
2. Company name and team name;
3. Xiaomi account ID;
4. Application region;
5. Number of clusters and instances applied for.
